Championing the frontier of Teaching and Research Infrastructure Excellence:
Embarked on a journey of groundbreaking exploration, steering the helm of visionary research endeavors. Architected and brought to life the Neutron and X-ray Combined Computed Tomography system (NXCT), a technological marvel that transcends boundaries in medicine, engineering, and real-time imaging.
Trailblazing through uncharted territories, I led the charge in establishing an avant-garde external fast neutron beam facility at the Ohio State University Nuclear Reactor. This facility is a testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of nondestructive evaluation capabilities and material characterization techniques, propelling our institution to the vanguard of nuclear research.
As the Co-Principal Investigator, I am currently immersed in the creation of a Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Full Scope Simulator at Ohio State University. This ambitious project stands as a beacon of progress in nuclear simulation, making substantial contributions to the education and training of professionals in the dynamic nuclear industry.
In addition to these pioneering initiatives, I played a central role in elevating OSU's Nuclear Engineering program. Spearheading the design and development of a cutting-edge Nuclear Teaching lab nestled at the core of our campus, we equipped it with state-of-the-art radiation sensors, detectors, instruments, and spectroscopy equipment. This immersive learning environment ensures that students gain hands-on experience, fostering a culture of curiosity and innovation. Together, we're sculpting the future of nuclear education and research.
